Arrests made in East Dundee burglary at landscaping yard

East Dundee Police arrested two people early Tuesday morning and a third person is wanted in connection with a break in a landscaped garden.

Police officers said the East Dundee and Carpentersville police responded to the landscaped garden spot on the 500 block on Commonwealth Drive just after 3 a.m. on Tuesday and saw several suspects who, police said, entered the property through a hole in the surrounding fence. After the suspects dispersed in different directions, two were caught.

Shawn P. Hennessy, 45, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and Samantha L. Vicicondi, 36, of McHenry have been charged with burglary, trespassing, possession of burglar tools, and attempted theft, respectively. Huntley’s Michael T. Provost, 42, has a warrant pending for burglary, attempted theft, and trespassing.

According to the police, the garden was broken into several times and equipment was stolen.
