County To Provide Free Green Landscaping Class May 8

The Department of Waste Resources is proud to bring a new green landscaping class online for Riverside County residents. This class will be offered for the first time on Saturday (May 8th) from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Participation is free and the class can be accessed from any computer, tablet or smartphone.

Green landscaping, also known as sustainable landscaping, is an easy and inexpensive way to be environmentally friendly. This class answers questions about closing the loop for green waste and using green space efficiently, from learning about native plants in Riverside County to water efficiency. Green landscapes are helpful for residents and companies alike.
