Easton Police Investigate Theft Of Landscaping Equipment

EASTON, CT – Police are seeking assistance from the public to investigate the theft of garden tools on Sunday.

The Easton Police Department reports that around 6:30 p.m. two Hispanic men were seen entering a homeowner’s garage on Route 136 between Morehouse Road and Center Road

“The two criminals stole landscaping equipment and left it in a white truck, possibly a Ford F-150, with double rear wheels,” police wrote on social media.

A short time later, a homeowner on Lower Sport Hill Road confronted the same men on his property, according to police. The men left without incident.

The police asked anyone with a similar experience or with video footage of the alleged truck to contact Det. Lyman at 203-268-4111.
