El Paso landscaping contractor arrested for allegedly defrauding customers
A landscaping contractor was arrested on suspicion of defrauding homeowners by allegedly taking payments and never completing the work.
Joseph Castro, 39, with his company Curb Appeal, is accused of contracting the victims and paying for paid work but never completing the agreed-upon job, officials at the El Paso county sheriff’s office said.
An investigation by the sheriff’s office has opened after several reports from victims allegedly defrauded.
MEPs received an arrest warrant for Castro on May 18. He was taken into custody on May 24th.
Castro was arrested on suspicion of property theft.
He was sent to El Paso County Jail on bail for $ 5,000, according to prison records. According to prison records, he still has to leave bail.
