Four Seasons Total Landscaping Trolls Giuliani With New Beer, ‘Lawn Jawn’ IPA

Almost nine months have passed since former New York Mayor Rudy Guiliani mistakenly booked the Four Seasons Total Landscaping property for a post-election press conference. Inspired by the many meme-capable moments that took place on that day, a special beer edition will be released next month.

“They messed with us and now we’re going to mess with them for the rest of their lives,” Sean Middleton, Four Seasons sales director, told The Philadelphia Inquirer. “We hold grudges in Philadelphia.”

Four Seasons partnered with local brewery Funk Brewing and clothing company Philly Drinkers to develop the aptly named Lawn Jawn beer. The co-owner of Funk Brewing, Jon Norman, justified the collaboration with the words: “Farm work and beer go together like peas and carrots”.

The IPA transports drinkers from the grassy hills of northeast Philly to the sandy beaches of the Caribbean, offering juicy, tropical flavors. Meanwhile, the beer label created by the artist Luz D. provides the “Lolz”.

Four Seasons is centrally located in bustling downtown Philly, where men in suits stand in front of a media circle. Buildings nearby show the infamous sex shop and funeral home nearby in real life. There’s a flying cheesesteak, Philly mascot, and a bald man who looks suspiciously like Guliani.

In partnership with @ therealfstl1992 & @FunkBrewing we are happy to present you the “LAWN JAWN IPA”, a beer that is so PHILLY that we don’t even need a press conference

“Our biggest goal for the can is that people don’t drink it right away,” said Alex Einhorn, owner of the Philly Drinkers, the Inquirer. “They’ll look at the can like it’s ‘Where’s Waldo’.”

Lawn Jawn’s initial launch only includes 30 boxes sold locally. It will be distributed at the upcoming sold out Four Seasons concert on August 21st and in nearby select stores in Northeast Philly on August 17th.

Lawn Jawn is perhaps the most successful collaboration Four Seasons Total Landscaping has ever entered into. But as Philly Drinkers points out, beer doesn’t need a press conference to get the message across.
