Hwy. 280 lane closures in Roseville start Monday to repair retaining walls – Twin Cities

Work on the Minnesota 280 northbound in Roseville will result in road closures starting Monday.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin repairing retaining walls along the left side of the ramp from 280 north to Interstate 35W north in Roseville.

During the repair, the ramp will be reduced to a single lane.

The construction crews work Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ramp will remain single lane until the project is completed on or about April 29th.

During the closure, drivers are advised to use alternative routes whenever possible in order to avoid traffic jams.

MNDOT road works were identified as an essential service in Governor Tim Walz’s stay at home order. According to the instructions of the state health authorities, the crews will maintain social distance while working.
