Landscaping worker, Nina Colbert, arrested on theft charges in Warren
WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A credit card was stolen from an 87-year-old woman in Warren after police announced that one of her landscapers had taken her away.
According to a police report, a man who was gardening a house on Wood Street’s 1000 block on Monday brought his girlfriend, later identified as 21-year-old Nina Colbert, to help him.
At one point, Colbert went inside to use the toilet and the older woman went outside to speak to the man who does gardening in her house, according to the police report.
When she came back in, she said she found Colbert on a chair in the living room next to her purse. The woman later noticed that her credit card was missing, the report said.

The landscaping company owner confronted Coblert about the theft and contacted the police.
During a search of Colbert’s apartment, the woman’s credit card and 17 other credit cards and IDs were found, the police said.
Colbert was charged with obtaining stolen property. She was scheduled for indictment on Friday.
