Man shot, killed while sitting in landscaping truck in Penn Hills

A man was shot dead in Penn Hills late Tuesday morning. Carmel Road and Calmar Drive. Neighbors report multiple gunshots, saying the victim, who police confirmed was part of a landscaper, was shot while mowing grass. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Robert Higginbotham, 24, of Wilkinsburg.
