Master Gardeners to present landscaping workshop Saturday

The Union County Master Gardeners Community Education Project is holding a workshop with Eddie Albriton, owner of the Union Environmental and Seeding Company, on Saturday, June 26th at 10:30 am at the South Arkansas Arboretum.

The program is open to the public and standing is available once the seating capacity in the arboretum is reached.

“The program will focus on home gardening,” said master gardener Barbie Luther. “Training in horticulture is a large part of our mission as master gardeners.

Albriton, who has over 20 years of landscaping and irrigation experience, will lead the workshop and share his expertise with those present.

Union County’s Master Gardeners are tasked with working with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Expansion Service to spread horticultural education and beautify the community. Luther said the master gardeners hope to hold another workshop and training course in October.
