New Hutchins shipping hub will serve Georgia landscaping supply firm

A Georgia-based company that describes itself as the largest landscaping products company in the country has landed south of Dallas with a regional shipping hub.

SiteOne Landscape Supply occupies nearly 338,000 square feet of retail space on 1200 W. Wintergreen Road in Hutchins near Interstate 45.

The Core 5 Logistics Center in the Wintergreen industrial project is owned by Cabot Properties.

“This deal represents the continued expansion of home improvement suppliers in the industry and is the main reason Dallas-Fort Worth is a major regional distribution center for national suppliers,” said Adam Curran of Cushman & Wakefield in a statement.

Curran negotiated the large distribution deal with David Eseke, Gary Collett and Jeff Eisenhart of Cushman & Wakefield.

The new SiteOne facility is located near the Union Pacific Railway Intermodal Center and the FedEx Ground Hub on I-45.

Roswell-based SiteOne sells a wide variety of landscaping and home improvement products, including irrigation equipment, kindergarten supplies, lighting, and outdoor food.

The company currently has a sales office in northwest Dallas.

The Wilmer-Hutchins area along I-45 where SiteOne is located is one of the fastest growing warehouse and shipping districts in North Texas and will include millions of square feet of new industrial space.
