PHOTOS: Aerial View Shows Landscaping to Hide Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel from Guests

Thanks to Twitter user @Bioreconstruct, we can share a new aerial construction update for the new Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel.

Hotel guests will immerse themselves in the Star Wars universe for a two-day and three-day “cruise”. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2022.

The shuttle stop area to the left of the building is currently used as a staging area for construction equipment and materials. Here the guests are taken by shuttle to an “excursion” to the planet Batuu at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The landscaping and paving has really evolved since our last aerial photo update in March. The berm and foliage help camouflage the hotel from the point of arrival. Guests are “transported” from the arrival point to the Halcyon cruiser as shown in the concept drawing below.
