WOODBURY – The Pomperaug Valley Garden Club will receive Professor Christopher Tuccio on Tuesday, April 13th, at 10 am via Zoom for a lecture on “The garden design pyramid: Levels of importance for creating a beautiful landscape”.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the club is now sponsoring speakers at Zoom monthly meetings. Guests are welcome to attend this free presentation by sending an email request to guest@PomperaugValleyGC.org before Sunday April 11th.

Tuccio developed the garden design pyramid as a tool intended for both professionals and home gardening enthusiasts who want to better understand the important elements of design in the landscape and who want to use them to create sturdy, beautiful and diverse environments, according to an announcement.

Tuccio is Full Professor, Interim Dean of the STEM Department, and Program Coordinator for the Horticultural and Landscaping Degrees at Naugatuck Valley Community College.
